Mayor Declares Friday, April 11, 2025, as “Jeannette High School Boys Basketball Day”

At the City Council Meeting, Mayor Curtis J. Antoniak proudly proclaimed Friday, April 11, 2025, as “Jeannette High School Boys Basketball Day” in honor of the Jeannette High School Boys Basketball Team.

The Mayor presented a formal proclamation to the team and coaching staff in recognition of their outstanding achievement in becoming the WPIAL AA Champions. This incredible accomplishment reflects the dedication, teamwork, and excellence demonstrated by the student-athletes and coaching staff throughout the season.

Congratulations to the Jeannette Jayhawks – WPIAL AA Champions! The entire city celebrates with you!  Go Jayhawks!
