The passing of Dora Gaudi is acknowledged with heavy hearts by the City of Jeannette. Dora, who passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, was a pillar of our community—a woman whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering commitment to public service was evident throughout her many years of dedicated work. Dora served as the City Treasurer for 24 years, spent two years in the Recreation Department, and three years in the Code Office. From 2002 to 2010, she served honorably as City Controller, always upholding the highest standards of integrity and responsibility. Dora’s legacy is one of service, strength, and genuine care for her community. Her contributions will not be forgotten, and her memory will live on in the city she so faithfully served.
