Occupancy Permit/Inspection Information
Pursuant to Ordinance 15-04, all properties which are not owner-occupied must register for an occupancy permit/occupancy inspection (fire safety inspection). The fee is $100.00 per unit. Please follow the instructions below.
RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES. Step One: Pay for an occupancy permit/inspection. This is done through the Treasurer's office (in-person or by mail). Step Two: Once the occupancy permit/inspection fee is paid, you can then schedule an inspection through the Treasurer’s office. However, for commercial properties the Building Code Official, William Whetzel will be the primary inspector along with the Fire Marshall conducting the fire safety inspection and any fire protection system inspections. |
